Meet the meerkats at Knowsley Safari Park in Merseyside with this fun and informative encounter. Meerkats are inquisitive creatures that love to hunt for little bugs to eat. After meeting the team that look after these cute little animals and helping to prepare their food, enter the enclosure and scatter the food for the meerkats to enjoy. As meerkats are friendly and have so much character, this encounter is perfect for those who love anything cute and furry. Included is entry to the safari park to spend the rest of the day exploring and if you want to return, there is 10 per cent off an annual safari park membership.

Available Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1 March - 31 October, excluding bank holidays.

Participant Guidelines

Minimum age is 6. Participants under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult spectator for a fee of £10 payable direct on the day. Disabled access is limited, please make us aware upon booking.

Weather

The encounter is somewhat weather dependent, please call the park before leaving home if in any doubt.

Lasts approximately 30 minutes. Knowsley Safari Park is open from 10am - 4pm.

Numbers on the Day

A maximum of two participants take part in each encounter.

Spectator

Spectators are welcome and are subject to a park entry fee. The park is open to the public seven days a week from 9 February - 28 October and at the weekends only for the remainder of the year.

We recommend wearing warm, comfortable layers and boots.
