Enjoy a visit to Kerry Vale, a picturesque vineyard situated on fascinatingly historic grounds at the heart of the Shropshire countryside. The vineyard won two awards at the English and Welsh Wine of the Year competition 2016. Begin with tea and coffee and a welcome presentation before heading on a fully guided tour of the vineyard. As well as learning all about the winemaking process, a knowledgeable guide passes on some intriguing facts about the vineyard's long standing history. Afterwards, sample four of Kerry Vale's very best wines under the tuition of a resident wine aficionado. To round off the experience, sit down to a delicious afternoon tea spread including finger sandwiches, cakes, scones and a refreshing glass of sparkling wine each.
Tours run on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays between April and October.
Guests aged 18 or over are welcome. The venue can accommodate wheelchair users for tea, the wine tasting session and majority of the tour, but there is no disabled access to the first floor of the winery.
The tour may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please call the venue before setting off.
Lasts for up to two hours. Tours start at midday on a Saturday and Wednesday and at 2pm on Sundays.
