Take the controls and pilot the plane during your flight
Can contribute towards flying time for a private pilot's lcence
If we were meant to fly, we'd have wings. We've got the Wright brothers to thank for the alternative - light aircraft. Your experience starts with your feet firmly on the ground and a briefing about flying techniques and safety. Then climb aboard your two seater training plane (either a Cessna 152 or Piper PA28) with a fully qualified instructor. Next it's chocks away for your flight, during which time (at the pilot's discretion) you can take the flight controls and experience the absolute joy of flying a plane. The feeling of control is brilliant, not to mention the breathtaking views.
Seven days a week throughout the year. Please note the centre is closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day.

Flying is a weather dependent activity and it's essential that you call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If your flight is cancelled because of the weather, it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time.
Your experience will last for about 70 minutes, including your 60 minute flight. Flight times are approximate and are the chocks-off to chocks-on duration. Please arrive a few minutes in advance of your booked time.

Your briefing might be shared. Your flight will be held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor.
Spectators are welcome to watch you take off and land.
Wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
Your flying time can count towards a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL). To qualify for a PPL you need 35 hours of dual-control and 10 hours solo flying. If you have ever wanted to be a pilot, this is a great way to get started.
