This 30 minute helicopter trial flight is a must for anyone who loves being in the air and wants to experience the thrill of being in a helicopter. The Robinson R22 is a popular entry-level helicopter, used for pilot training or introductory flights. Relax with a hot drink to calm the nerves while the experts give a briefing on controls and all the need to know information. Once the pilot has taken the craft into the air, take in the fantastic bird's-eye views of the beautiful countryside. During this aerial session (at the pilot's discretion) take over the controls of this two-seat helicopter and see how it feels being a real pilot.

Flights operate Tuesday to Saturday throughout the year. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 16. Maximum height is 6'3''. Maximum weight is 17 stone. - Weather
This is a weather dependent activity, mainly due to wind speeds and cloud base above the ground. It is crucial that you call the centre before setting out to ensure suitable conditions. - Duration
The time spent in the helicopter is around 30 minutes from engines-on to engines-off. This includes warm-up, take-off and landing. - Numbers on the Day
Briefings may be shared. The flight is held one a one-to-one basis with the instructor. - Dress Code
Wear soft-soled shoes and loose, comfortable clothing, as the cockpit can get warm. Skirts can get in the way of the controls, please wear trousers. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
