  • About

Here is an excellent way for two people to see the Thames from a new perspective and take in some of the great sights of our capital city from the river. Jump aboard this small, light and high-speed powerboat, otherwise known as a Thames Rocket (which stands for rigid inflatable boat) and get ready for some fast fun. There is always a safety briefing to start with before being kitted out with the kind of gear needed for this waterborne experience. Then it's all systems go as the skipper takes you up and down the river, pointing out areas of interest and telling stories (he knows the river really well and has lots of interesting snippets to share) so sit back and hold on!

    • London sightseeing with a high-speed twist
    • Enjoy fantastic views of London landmarks
    • Fascinating commentary from an experienced skipper
    • High-octane thrills aboard the Thames Rocket

From when we arrived at Pier 1 on the Thames, the service we got from the Power boating team was excellent. They supplied us with waterproof jackets & life jacket. Once passed the Police station on the Thames our Skipper opened up the throttle and away we went speeding up the Thames which was brilliant.

Amazing time, would Defo do again if we had more time at fast speed when the speed limit is dropped! Well organised and great crew, Ian and Rory

Sightseeing from the river gives you a different perspective on London's skyline, and our guide Tristan's sense of humour made it even more enjoyable.Once onto quieter waters, the engine opens, and the adventure really begins. The RIB is extremely manoeuvrable, so we were twisting and turning at speed, to squeals from the passengers.
An experience suitable for all ages.

This voyage was a Birthday present for our Grandson Thomas, age 14, and he loved every minute of it, interesting, thrilling and really all round very enjoyable. The crew of James and Ian were very interactive with him, interested in where home was and his hobbies and how school was. Made it very personal for him.

We were delayed by Abellio cancelling our train to London and missed our slot. The staff went out of there way to try and fit us in, just one of us managed to get on the trip but thanks for doing your best.
