Axe Throwing for Two at Hazlewood Castle, North Yorkshire
Our raiding ancestors were great at the art of axe throwing, but it's no longer a necessity - and neither is raiding! That doesn't mean the art is defunct though; on the contrary, axe throwing remains a popular, tricky and very fun sport. Whether a beginner or already familiar with an axe, fully trained instructors will be waiting to meet and greet all participants, before introducing them to or perfecting their throwing technique. The axe in question is a mighty Tomahawk, and a range of exciting games will be laid on to help everyone practise, before a surprising finale to cement knowledge and put new skills to the test. Remember, it's technique, not strength, that wins the day - so this experience is suitable for Davids as well as Goliaths.
