Flavoursome, colourful and uniquely inviting, African cuisine may not be as widely celebrated in the UK as it should be, but it sure is delicious! Thanks to this Taste of Africa cookery class at The Novelli Academy Cookery School, foodies can learn how to recreate their favourite African dishes in the comfort of their own home. Hosted by Patti Sloley, budding chefs embark on an adventure in flavour. Enjoy an engaging introduction to new and intriguing ingredients, before mastering some tasty traditional African recipes. Imagine delicious peanut butter stews, fragrant tagines, refreshing salads and dishes with plantain, yams and cassava. Top it all off, by sitting down with the class to tuck into a tasty lunch and a drink.

Courses are held on selected dates throughout the year (subject to availability).We recommend you book at least six weeks in advance to secure a date. - Participant Guidelines
The minimum age for the course is 18. Participants must be able to stand up for a reasonable length of time. Unfortunately, there is no disabled access on site, as it has not been possible to modify the 14th century listed building. - Duration
Courses typically start at 11am and end at 4.30pm. Please allow up to 6 hours for the experience. - Numbers on the Day
This voucher is valid for one person. Join a group of between 6 and 12 other budding chefs. - Dress Code
There is no dress code but casual clothing and closed toe shoes are recommended. - Other Info
