Rush down a purpose-built white water rafting course
Two hours of white-knuckle fun, plunging down a tube
Prepare to be soaked and for the time of your life!
Rediscover a sense of adventure (and what it's like to be soaked to the skin!) by attempting tubing down a white water course in Northampton. Trying to stay afloat in an inflatable ring while negotiating through eddy's, whirlpools and boils whilst being washed down the white water course will be a challenge. The UK's white water rafting course grades Northampton course 2 - 3, the white water rafting grading system starts at one for a relaxed experience (a few splashes) up to six which is a stomach churning ride that is far too extreme to offer commercially. The rafting course is stimulating, exciting and breathtaking, don't take our word for it - experience it for yourself.
This experience is available from March to October on selected Saturdays.
Min age is 12. Max weight 16 stone. No experience necessary but you must be able to swim. Any medical conditions must be declared before booking and venue may test fitness.
Tubing will go ahead in most conditions. For your safety, certain conditions may lead to postponement - you MUST call the venue for a weather check. For morning bookings call the day before, for afternoon/evening bookings call before setting out.
Sessions last around two hours from initial introduction to debrief, including at least five runs down the course. Please arrive a few minutes early to register and allow for time afterwards to shower and change. Sorry, latecomers can't be accommodated.
