Day at Diggerland for Two in County Durham
Overview
Diggerland offers the whole family an action-packed day out. The innovative idea was the brainchild of Hugh Edeleanu, Chairman of HE Services (Plant Hire) Limited, the largest supplier of construction machinery hire in Europe when he saw during company open days just how popular the heavy machinery was and in 2000, the first park opened. Each Diggerland park has 20 rides and drives based on construction machinery. Drive a dumper truck or a JCB, enjoy a mystery ride in the Land Rover Safari, a panoramic view from The Sky Shuttle, experience the thrill of riding in Spindizzy or test co-ordination in the JCB mini challenges.
