
JCB Racing at Diggerland West Yorkshire
Overview
Enjoy the unique excitement of a JCB racing day at Diggerland Yorkshire. This adventure theme park plays host to digger driving experiences around a purpose-built course. The giant excavator is deceptive, reaching speeds of 20 mph around the track, although you can guarantee it feels even quicker when you're sitting at the top of the vehicle! All drivers receive hands-on training before the competition begins and then the fun really starts! Beat the clock and the rest of the field to qualify for the day's grand final hosting the eight fastest drivers. As part of the experience, get to explore the rest of Diggerland Yorkshire, with free access to the rest of the rides in the adventure park.

- Availability Description
Twice a year, usually one Sunday in May and one Sunday in September. Extra dates will be added to meet demand if necessary. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 17. You must hold a full driving licence (and bring it along on the day), but you don't need any other special licences or experience. - Weather
Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions like heavy snow, flooding or high winds, which would make it dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt. - Duration
Lasts around four hours including a briefing, introduction to the JCBs, tuition, around 20 minutes driving time, debrief and presentation. - Numbers on the Day
A maximum of 24 people take part. - Dress Code
Bring a change of clothes and shoes/boots that you don't mind getting muddy or dusty. If it's raining, bring wellies and overalls if you have them (trainers are no good in the wet, you'll be slipping all over the place). - Other Info
Please note that if any participant appears to be unfit due to alcohol, drugs or any other reason, event staff reserve the right to stop them taking part.
