Get back to nature with a few creature comforts
Just outside the legendary town of Glastonbury, take a glamping trip and stay for one night in a camping cabin at The Old Oaks Touring Park. Winner of AA Campsite of the Year Award 2013, this campsite is a wonderful place to enjoy the peace and tranquillity of the Somerset countryside. A camping cabin is the perfect way to avoid the hassle and discomfort of a tent. Kitted out with a king size bed with mattress and sheet, a small fridge, a decking area, a bistro table and chairs, hanging wardrobe, under bed storage, electric heater, lighting, power sockets, kettle, toaster and a large velux window for star gazing, it's the ideal place for a cosy night in nature. Cabins now have fire pits and benches too, so don't forget the marshmallows!
Sunday - Thursday, March to mid June and mid Sept to the end of November. Excludes Easter, all bank holidays and 18 - 19 Nov. For a £15 supplement per night, stays during the restricted dates above and weekends may be possible. Peak periods are subject to a minimum stay of three nights.
Both guests must be 18 or over, the park is for adults only. The cabins are wheelchair-friendly and an accessible shower and toilet are 100 metres away.
Stay for one night. Check in after 2pm and check out by 11am.
Bring food, sleeping bags/duvets and pillows and other equipment you might need. To cook in the open air, bring a camping stove or hire one from the park at an extra cost.
