Overview
Take a cruise on the Thames to view the city of Oxford and its surrounding areas from a whole new perspective. Head upstream, passing through Oxford before getting to Binsey and Port Meadow - the inspiration behind some of the famous literary works of writers such as C S Lewis and Gerard Manly Hopkins. Cruise through the village of Godstow where the iconic story of Alice in Wonderland was penned by Lewis Carroll in the mid 1800s. Return to the city centre, passing historic Oxford scenery, including the College Boat Houses and Christchurch Meadows. Inspiring!

Cruises operate daily from May to October. - Participant Guidelines
Under 16's must be accompanied by an adult (18 or over). The boats don't have wheelchair access, but boat staff are happy to assist passengers with limited mobility to embark and disembark. - Weather
The experience takes place in all weather conditions apart from extreme conditions such as flooding. - Duration
Cruises last for approximately two and a half hours, usually departing at 12.30pm. - Numbers on the Day
There will be a maximum of 12 people on board. - Dress Code
Dress for the weather with a hat, sunglasses and sun cream in summer. Please avoid high heels.
