Looking for an unusual gift? Polo: a game that involves hitting a small ball with a long stick whilst travelling at speed on board a vehicle with a mind of its own. Sounds insane? Find out for yourself at the world's largest polo training academy. Start off being briefed on the basic rules and theory of polo by expert instructors. Then have lots of time to practice polo riding, ball hitting, hooking, and riding off. After training change into proper polo gear and mount your horse, and then it's time to put what has been learnt into practice by playing an instructional chukka. Afterwards why not stay and watch other matches? Fast-paced, skilful and with the fantastic sound effect of thundering hooves, polo is a great sport to play and to watch.
