Enter the thrilling world of vintage aviation with a 60 minute flight aboard a classically restored ex-military Piper Cub. This nimble craft's roots date back to the 1930s and it is still used today as a popular flight training plane. After a comprehensive safety briefing and tuition on all essential flight controls, climb into the Piper Cub to get ready for the ride ahead. Once in the air, take over the craft's controls and gently guide it through the sky with your professional instructor on hand to act as a co-pilot. Take in stunning panoramic views of the landscape below whilst experiencing the unrivalled joys of flying such a classic plane. For those with the flying bug, flight time can count towards a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL).

Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding Christmas. Weekends can get very busy so we recommend booking at least four weeks in advance. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 16. Maximum weight is 16 stone. Maximum height is 6'4''. - Weather
Flying is a weather dependent activity and it's essential to call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time. - Duration
Expect to be at the venue for a total of 90 minutes. The flight itself lasts for around 60 minutes. Flight times are approximate and are the chocks-off to chocks-on duration. - Numbers on the Day
Briefings may be shared. The flight is held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor. - Dress Code
Wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round. - Other Info
To qualify for a Private Pilot's Licence (PPL) you need 35 hours of dual control and 10 hours solo flying. If you have ever wanted to be a pilot, this is a great way to get started.
