Luxurious Spa Day for Two with 25 Minute Treatment at Verulamium Spa

This was gift, it was difficult to get a reply, took several days to get an answer. When I did the person on reception was difficult to understand, spoke very quickly, kept repeating herself when I asked questions but I didn’t really understand what she was telling me, this wasn’t a language barrier. Finally got there, I could book the day, they were fully booked for at least two months and if I wanted additional treatments I would have to wait 4 months. We opted to just have the pedicure. Arrived, £5 for parking, place was clean, cafe closed so to get a drink we had to trek down to the public baths cafe. Staff were nice on the day, we spent two hours here, there isn’t a pool, just a plunge area, a steam room and a sauna. Two beds. Pretty poor for a spa day. When I chatted to the therapist she said she wasn’t that busy so it turns out they limit red letters vouchers and the treatments, seems silly, I would have had to pay for additional treatments. I don’t really want to be gifted a red letter day again. It was more trouble than it was worth.

Never been to a spa before this was a christmas gift and my first experience was incredible will go again

Massage was nice and facilities were ok. Relaxations area needed to be looked after as old towels on the beds that weremt replaced so no where to sit. The spa area downstairs was fine although the hydro pool was cold. We heard another lady complain about it on our way in saying its been lile that for a while. All in all an ok spa.
