We were married at this hotel five years ago and this was our first time back. We upgraded to the honeymoon suite we originally stayed in which was really stunning and a bargain.
The hotel is clean and well run. Lots of the staff were still there so it’s obviously a good place to work.
Our meal in the evening was absolutely delicious. I had brie bites followed by salmon and my husband had garlic mushrooms followed by lamb shank. Both meals were absolutely delicious but unfortunately we were too full for dessert!
Special thanks to manager Beth who was absolutely fantastic. A really friendly lady who gave us help choosing our meals and wine. This lady made our evening and she’s a real asset to the hotel.
We loved returning to this stunning hotel and reminiscing about our special wedding day in the Great Hall. Lancashire Manor have just changed their menu so we hope to be back again soon!
It was easy to book through red letter days. We just contacted the hotel directly with our code and it was super easy.

Lovely, welcoming hotel which was clean and well placed for travel to a variety of places. Food was of good quality and we enjoyed both breakfast and evening meal.

What a lovely hotel. The room was very clean, quiet and extremely comfortable with a huge bed with extra pillows. We were able to manage the temperature of the room ourselves which added to the comfort. The staff were all friendly and accommodating, even asked if we wanted extra breakfast! The dining room was well presented and the menu at dinner was varied. Portions were large so bring an appetite. A good selection of vegetable which were rather more el dente than we prefer and a good choice at breakfast - pity the croissants are not warm as they should be light and flaky not cold and doughy - these were the only very minor criticisms in an otherwise fabulous overnight stay. We would not hesitate to re-visit hopefully not in the middle of a storm so that we can appreciate the outside space!
