The Bear Grylls Adventure, High Ropes and Climb for Two
Come to The Bear Grylls Adventure at the NEC in Birmingham to take on Earth’s greatest challenges and feel on top of the world. Bear himself has overseen the construction of the mighty £20 million facility from its very first sketches in design to final construction at the NEC in Birmingham. Featuring the highest zip-line in Europe, be prepared to arrive with a keen sense for adventure, a brave heart and courage not to look down! But fear not, an expertly trained instructor will provide extensive instruction and training for the high ropes and climbing challenges, no matter what the skill level of each climber. After ascending towering ladder bridges and rolling beams turn to the climbing trial to attempt to rise above tricky terrain and boulders, inspired by some of Earth’s greatest peaks!

Valid on Saturdays and Sundays only. Opening times from 7th January: Monday to Friday 10am-8pm, Saturday 9am-9pm and Sunday 9am-7pm. Subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 10 years (under 18s will need permission from a parent or guardian and to complete the Adventure Portal documents). Under 16s will need a guardian over 18 present (16-17 year olds can visit unaccompanied but will be unable to supervise others). Not suitable for pregnant women. Maximum weight 21.5 stone for climbing and 20 stone for high ropes. Minimum height 4.2 feet for high ropes. Maximum height 6.7 feet for high ropes.
This experience lasts approximately five hours and includes 4 challenging basecamp tasks for a total of 90-minutes, free-roam high ropes for 60-minutes and climbing challenge for 60-minutes.
