This voucher is valid for one person. Available Monday–Friday from March–July and September–October. All dates are subject to availability.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age: 18 years.
The weather should not affect this experience but if conditions are extreme, please contact the station before leaving home.
Lasts for up to three hours, with approximately one and a half hours on the footplate.
- Numbers on the Day
Share the experience with two other participants and take turns driving and firing the locomotive.
- Dress Code
Stout footwear and a cotton overall or boiler suit must be worn. Trainers are not acceptable. Dress comfortably in clothing that fully covers the arms and legs.
- Other Info
No experience is necessary but participants must be fit enough to climb up to the footplate from ground level. Mobility needs must be stated when booking.
