Enter the world of espionage and discover what it takes to be a spy. Dodge alarms to make it safely through the laser room challenge and delve into the murky world of the sniper, learning the principles of marksmanship and camouflage which help you stay alive! When the bullets run out there's only one thing for it - hand to hand combat! Specialist techniques incorporating blocks, knife work and take downs, will be taught by an instructor with real live experience. Race a segway round a purpose-built circuit round off your day with the chance to handle a 9mm pistol. A qualified instructor will teach you the procedures and only when he thinks you are ready will you have the opportunity to fire.
Saturdays and Sundays between April and November, at least three times a year.
Minimum age is 18, maximum age is 70. You must be reasonably physically fit. This experience is not suitable for people with disabilities, although hearing-impaired participants are welcome.
This is an all-weather experience and some activities take place outdoors - if it's raining, you're going to get wet!
The experience lasts for approximately six hours. Please arrive a few minutes prior to the event for registration.
Numbers on the Day
There will be up to 60 people taking part, split into supervised groups of 12 for the activities.
Spectators are welcome. Refreshments can be purchased from the tuck shop, which sells soft drinks, crisps, hot snacks, tea and coffee.
Dress for the weather and wrap up well in winter - activities take place outdoors and indoors. Wear flat shoes - walking boots or trainers are ideal. Eye protection will be provided where necessary. Changing facilities are available.
