Take to the wheel at the Silverstone Rally School, with sessions available all year round for enthralling rally driving experiences teaching you skid and power slide controls. Silverstone Rally School has been established for over 25 years and it's purpose-built, picturesque setting in the heartland of British motorsport is a great location to feed your need for speed. This rip-roaring driving experience offers the choice to drive either a Ford Escort MK2 or a Subaru Impreza and includes expert tuition by Silverstone's qualified instructors to guide you through the rally stage circuit. Recipients can also sit back and experience a full rally stage in the passenger seat as your instructor shows you how the pros do it!
Every Saturday and occasional Tuesdays and Thursdays throughout the year. Dates fill very quickly; we recommend giving several weeks booking notice.
Maximum height is 6' 6''. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A Full British or international manual driving licence must be produced on the day to guarantee participation.
Driving may be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make driving at speed dangerous. Please call the venue if in any doubt.
Starts at 9am and lasts around three hours, including briefings, demonstrations and driving time. You MUST arrive early or on time as safety rules dictate that if you miss any of the initial briefing you cannot be permitted to take part.
Numbers on the Day
There is a maximum of six people per car/instructor. Total numbers at the venue tend to vary. All driving time is held on a one-to-one basis with a qualified instructor.
Spectators are welcome and there are superb purpose-built indoor and outdoor viewing facilities. Please note that animals are not allowed at the circuit, with the exception of guide dogs.
Wear flat shoes or trainers which are comfortable for driving, trousers and long sleeves. Helmets are provided, but if you have your own you're welcome to bring it along.
This experience takes place at the Silverstone Rally School, not the Silverstone Racing Circuit.
