
Paddleboarding Introduction and Kew Bridge Trip for Two
Overview
Have a go at one of the UK's fastest emerging watersports and go paddleboarding on the famous River Thames, under the arches of Kew Bridge. Ideal for a couple of daredevils who aren't afraid to get wet, get to grips with all the essential paddleboarding basics with tuition from a friendly, experienced instructor. Start with a safety briefing, before learning board handling techniques, self-rescue, foot position, standing up and board control. When you've both gained some confidence, take a short trip heading to either Hammersmith or Richmond (depending on the tide), taking in some of the beautiful sights of the famous waterway. Some food outlets on the route even offer discounts to paddlers, what's not to love?

Sessions take place at weekends, subject to availabilty. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 18. Participants must be able to swim a minimum of 25 metres unaided and are asked to sign a medical declaration on the day. - Weather
This experience is only ever cancelled in extreme weather conditions. If in doubt, please call before setting off. In the event of a cancellation, an alternative date can be arranged. - Duration
Lasts around three hours. - Numbers on the Day
Share the experience with up to six other keen paddleboarders, plus a qualified instructor. - Dress Code
Each bring a swimming costume, towel, old trainers or watersports shoes, waterproof sun block, sunglasses and clothing (suitable for weather on the day). - Other Info
