Ride over cross country terrains on a new 2016 Honda CRF250 L
Fun and challenging, whatever the ability
Safety equipment is available for hire, bikes and refreshments are provided
Looking for something fun, action-packed and adventurous? An introductory off road biking experience ticks all the boxes and gets participants quickly onto the back of a new 2016 Honda CRF250 L riding cross country over a range of terrains. Whether trying off road biking for the first time, or wanting to improve existing skills, this experience is all about boosting confidence. A group briefing kicks off the morning, detailing safety instructions. Then get kitted out in all the gear before learning all the essentials - including handling techniques, throttle and clutch control and all important on-bike body positions. This experience is great for novice off road riders and more experienced riders alike.
Around once a week throughout the year (could be any day of the week).
Minimum age is 21. Minimum height is 5'4'' and maximum weight is 18 stone. You must hold a full (not provisional) motorcycle licence which you may be required to produce on the day.
This experience would be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions which would make it dangerous. Please call the centre if the weather is poor and you are in any doubt.
As a guide expect to be at the venue for around three hours. Sessions start at 9.30am.
Numbers on the Day
There will be up to nine others in your group and two instructors.
All riding and safety equipment are available for hire - so just dress comfortably. Please note helmets are not provided but are available for purchase on-site. Bring a spare set of clothes and a towel as off road biking can be hard and dirty work.
Refreshments are included. Third party insurance is provided for use of the bikes.
