Take control of a variety of military beasts with an action-packed activity day at a purpose-built, multi-terrain site in Bristol. After refreshments and a safety briefing, hit the activity site to begin the military experience. During this full throttle session, take the reins of two out of three impressive, heavy duty military vehicles (the exact vehicles are chosen to suit ground conditions), including a 15 ton Armoured Personnel Carrier, Alvis Stalwart and a Military 4x4. With expert tuition, take charge of each beast over a host of challenging terrain - each part of this scenic course has been specially designed to test nerve and skill, making this one rip-roaring military adventure to remember.
At least one Saturday per month from March - October.
Minimum age is 18. Minimum height is 5'2'', maximum height is 6'2''. Maximum weight is 18 stone. A full manual driving licence must be presented on the day to ensure participation.
Vehicles may change depending on weather conditions.
The briefing starts at either 8:45am or 10:45am and expect to be on-site for around 2 ¼ hrs. The instructor determines the length of each session during the experience.
Numbers on the Day
Share the experience with up to five others, plus a seasoned military instructor. There may be other activities taking place on the day.
One spectator per participant can watch free of charge (health and safety and the course layout means some views are restricted). Each extra spectator pays on the day. Wooden shelters, refreshments and toilet facilities are available on-site.
Please wear flat, sturdy shoes, trousers and loose fitting, comfortable clothing that is fine to get dirty. Hats, gloves and scarves are recommended for colder months.
