Weekend Big Cat Ranger for a Day at The Big Cat Sanctuary
Definitely one for the lion-hearted, this incredible zoo keeper experience at The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent provides lucky participants with the opportunity to get face to face with some magnificent big cats. Become a big cat ranger for the day, assisting one of the professional keepers with daily tasks, including preparing food and feeding the sanctuary's residents, as well as mucking out their enclosures. Go on an exclusive tour of the sanctuary (camera at the ready!), learning all about the unique qualities of each species (tigers, lions, leopards, jaguars and more) and about the inspirational conservation efforts being carried out by the staff at the sanctuary. A light buffet lunch is also provided as part of the experience.

This experience is available on selected Saturdays and Sundays throughout the year. We recommend you book well in advance to ensure that dates are available.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age: 18 years. Ladies in the early stages of pregnancy are asked to consult their doctor or midwife before booking. The site is accessible for all, however in very wet weather, grass surfaces may not be suitable for wheelchair users.
Please allow approximately 6 hours on site.
- Numbers on the Day
This experience is for one person, however you can bring one extra person with you – either as a guest for a suggested donation of £100 or as a participant at the cost of £200.
- Dress Code
Please do not wear open-toed shoes and avoid wearing loose jewellery and scarves. Casual clothing is also recommended.
