See what it's to like to get off the road and put driving skills to the ultimate test with this exhilarating 4x4 experience at locations across the UK. Kick off with a safety briefing, then get into the driving seat of a Land Rover Defender, Discovery, a Toyota Hilux or a similar 4x4 to tackle a specially designed off road course under the guidance of an experienced instructor. With steep inclines, bumps and water ditches along the way, this is an unforgettable session filled with challenges, adrenaline and offers the perfect chance for adventurous drivers to learn new skills.
Availability varies from venue to venue, but as a guide, most venues run at least one weekend date per month.
Minimum age 17. Minimum height 5', maximum is 6'5''. Maximum weight 20 stone. A full UK driving licence is required, some venues require this to be held for at least ten months, others need both parts produced on the day.
For safety the event may be cancelled in extreme weather conditions such as ice or snow. If in doubt, please call the venue before setting off.
Lasts for around an hour, including 20 minutes of hands-on driving time.
Numbers on the Day
Share the car with two other drivers and the instructor, taking it in turns to drive and be a passenger.
Due to limited visibility, this experience is unsuitable for spectators.
Sturdy footwear covering the ankle is recommended. Wear sensible, outdoor clothing suitable for driving.
