Experience the unrivalled thrills of light aircraft aviation with this sensational 30 minute flight in a Cessna 152. To start, receive a run down on flight safety before boarding the plane with a professional instructor to get ready for take-off. Once in position, soar towards the sky and at altitude, marvel at the magnificent birds-eye views of the countryside below while your instructor takes the Cessna for a spin through the clouds. During the flight, take over the reins and become an honorary pilot - the very best way to experience this zippy little craft's full capabilities. For those who want to continue flying, this experience actually counts towards a Private Pilot's Licence.
Seven days a week except Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day. Weekends can get very busy; if a weekend date is required we recommend booking at least four weeks in advance (even earlier for summer weekends).
Minimum age 16. Max weight 15 stone. Max height 6'6''. For security reasons, photographic ID (ideally a passport) MUST be produced by all passengers on the day or they won't be permitted to fly.
Flying is a weather dependent activity and it's essential to call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If the flight is cancelled because of the weather, it will be re-booked for an alternative date or time.
Lasts around 40 minutes, including a 30 minute flight. Flight times are approximate and are the chocks-off to chocks-on duration.
Numbers on the Day
The briefing might be shared. The flight is held on a one-to-one basis with the instructor.
Spectators are welcome to watch the take off and landing.
Wear flat-soled shoes. Sunglasses are recommended all year round.
Flying time can count towards a Private Pilot's Licence. To qualify for a PPL 35 hours of dual control and 10 hours solo flying is required.
