
Tour, Pottery Class and Afternoon Tea at The World of Wedgwood
Overview
Spend a day at The World of Wedgwood in Staffordshire, learning all about Josiah Wedgwood and his iconic company. Start this pottery based experience with coffee and shortbread, before embarking on a tour of the fascinating factory, with admission to the £10.5 million museum also included. Fulfil your appetite with an afternoon tea in The Dining Hall before joining a master craftsman to throw a pot - there's even the opportunity to design and create your own Wedgwood plate (later fired and posted to you at home). Monday to Friday. Please note that there are no weekend tours in 2018. Wedgwood is closed some days over Christmas and New Year period. - Participant Guidelines
Under 16's must be accompanied by a participating adult. The site is fully accessible to wheelchair users. - Duration
Arrive 10am - 10.30am. The tour lasts around two hours and is available between 10am - 4pm (last entry 3pm). Afternoon tea takes an hour and the ceramic activities around two hours. Feel welcome to stay on until the centre closes at 5pm (4pm at weekends). - Numbers on the Day

Comfortable footwear is recommended, as there is plenty of walking involved. An apron is provided for pot throwing.
