Begin with a two and a half hour golf lesson covering all aspects of set up, swing technique and a short game, including a brief performance analysis, either by video or using Explanar - an alternative golf training tool designed specifically to develop all areas of the game. In the afternoon, players are taken onto the golf course to put the tuition into practise under the supervision of the professional. The itinerary is subject to change depending on the standard of attendees. Lunch is included. A free mail golf service is available for the three months following the experience (maximum six emails).
Selected weekend dates between March, April or May to September, October or November (dates vary between clubs). We recommend booking several weeks in advance for the most popular weekend dates.
Anybody with a golfing handicap is welcome (NOT suitable for total novices).
The weather shouldn't affect the experience, but in the rare case of cancellation, Marriott make contact the evening before the experience to advise.
Meet for refreshments and a prompt start half an hour later. The experience lasts approximately six and a half hours. Tuition time lasts two and a half hours in the morning, followed by a break for lunch, then practise in the afternoon.
Numbers on the Day
At most venues six to eight people take part.
Guests are welcome at all of the country clubs and can use the bar and restaurant facilities while they're waiting.
Dress for golf (no trainers, jeans or tracksuits please). If you have clubs please bring them; if not they can be provided. Golf shoes must be worn and are available to hire from some venues.
The booking letter MUST be presented at the venue on the day. Please note, the itinerary is subject to change depending on the standard of attendees.
