A cross between a mudpack and a steam bath, but much, much better!

Some spas offer use of communal spa facilities after your rasul experience
The rasul is a traditional Arabian cleansing ritual which will leave spa lovers feeling pure and calm and their skin beautifully exfoliated. The pampering experience takes place in a private temple under the light of a thousand stars. Apply different coloured medicinal chakra muds to specific areas of the body while inhaling steam delicately infused with pure herbs (reputed to cleanse the respiratory system). The ritual ends with warm tropical water pouring from the dome to wash the muds away. Venues which have a communal spa offer full use their facilities and others other additional body cream or oil to rehydrate purified bodies. Whether or not you're into chakras and chi energy, this spa day is one fantastic way to relax.
Most spas offer a mixture of weekday and weekend dates, some are available on weekdays only and some run daily, please check when booking. The spas are closed on national holidays, including Christmas and New Year.
The experience is open to both men and women aged 18 or over at most venues (just 16 in Yorkshire). Rasul is not suitable for pregnant women.
Time in the rasul lasts for around 45 minutes. Please arrive a few minutes prior to the appointment so that your details can be recorded (if you arrive late you may miss your booked slot).
