    Brook Meadow Hotel

The dinner and breakfast were excellent although evening service somewhat slow. Only fault was the bet was past its best with very bad mattress meaning sleep was poor . Would be 5* if they invested in new mattresses

    The Talbot Ripley

Arrived to find booking had been messed up and the hotel IT systems out of action. Asked to wait in the lounge and promised coffee which never arrived. Finally shown to a room which faced onto the noisy high street. Room decor tired and dirty and made a travel lodge look good. Checked out after 1 hour with the reception personnel seemingly unsurprised and uncaring. Worst hotel experience ever.

    The Thelbridge Cross Inn

nice location, food was very good, however the accommodation was not as clean as it could have been, mould in the shower, dirt on the floor around the sink pedestal dust and cobwebs in various places and a dirty used plaster on the floor in the bar area!.
    Would not recommend

Hotel and gardens were beautiful, the staff excellent, nothing was too much for them, the downside was we felt that we were on a discounted trip by only given the one menu and not given a choice to choose and the double beds were only suitable for very slim smal people.
If they could install a lift that would be a bonus for those that can't climb stairs, otherise I'd highly recommend it there .

Cotswold Water Park Four Pillars Hotel

On arrival the surroundings were tranquil and picturesque. Room was nice but in need of updating i.e, a few stains on carpets and mold around tiles in bathroom. Some more coffee sachets and complimentory water would of been nice. Plus there was no welcome folder pack with hotel information, facilities or local area info. Stayed in a few four pillars hotel on numerous occasions but found this one lacking in areas.

    Mercure York, Fairfield Manor Hotel

Some of my family treated me to a Red letter Day escape. What a great gift, the hotel was ideally situated to explore York, with the park & ride bus being a 10 min. walk away. The room was well appointed with an enormous, comfy bed and all the usual facilities. The evening meal & breakfast were very good, and the staff were friendly and efficient. Over all a very good experience.

If you want to get away from the rat race, this is the place to start. The Surrey countryside around this lovely country house hotel is very beautiful. We enjoyed our short stay here very much indeed. It was a surprise birthday present from our daughter to us both. We strolled in the extensive gardens after checking in. We had a lovely room overlooking the garden. It was warm and spotlessly clean. The staff are friendly and very helpful. Our evening dinner was delicious and not overpriced. Breakfast also was delicious. This is a very beautiful area. We would recommend to couples young and old for a relaxing weekend.

    Hallmark Hotel Bournemouth Carlton

I got my red letter day as a gift for being the top sales person. The process of booking was really easy, all done online and really quick. The hotel was a four star and luxurious in our eyes. We would never have been able to afford it which made it even more special. The service was first class and the room was out of this world, clean warm and had everything you needed for a lovely nights stay. Would recommend this to anyone. Amazing
