    Availability

Weekdays around once a month throughout the year, more frequently between April and October. Dates fill very quickly, so book several weeks in advance and please be aware that experiences do not operate at weekends.

    Participant Guidelines

Minimum height is 5'2''; maximum is 6'2''. Maximum weight is 18 stone. You must be a confident driver and hold a full manual driving licence; bring it with you on the day. Driving licence endorsements will not affect your ability to take part.

    Weather

Last-minute cancellations are rare and are only made in extreme weather conditions which would make driving dangerous. If a cancellation is necessary you'll be contacted as soon as possible (on the emergency contact number you give at time of booking).

    Duration

Driving time is around 45 minutes. You'll be at the circuit for around an hour in total, including your in-car briefing and driving laps.

    Numbers On Day

There will be other drivers at the circuit, but all in-car tuition is one-to-one.

    Spectators

Spectators are welcome to watch from a specially-designed balcony over the pits. Children must be closely supervised at all times. Food and refreshments are available at the Flying Cub cafe.

    Dress Code

Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt and flat-soled shoes. A helmet will be provided, or you can bring your own if you have one (it will be safety checked before driving).

    Other Info

Each lap is a full two and a half miles in length, making Goodwood one of the longest mainstream circuits in the UK.

    Tremendous 45 Minutes

Weather was awful but nevertheless we got to drive the Corvette, Mustang and a Porsche 996 as a substitute for the open, and hence undriveable, Viper. Instructors offered helpful advice but otherwise basically let you get on with it. The circuit is fast and flowing with some challenging off-camber and double-apex turns. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff with excellent tuition. They allowed you to push the cars almost to the limit on a full circuit of the track.Would have given five stars if they had some nibbles there while your waiting. Mithrill Racing at Goodwood (Superb).

Fantastic - By Far The Best Driving Day

    Ian C, 08 Oct 2009

I have been on many driving days and this was by far the best. The organisation on the day was brilliant as I was more or less straight in the car and driving. The circuit was great to drive and the cars even better, I also thought the advice from the instructor to be of a very high standard and was much appreciated. All in all a great day.
