You'll also drive a Russian Grozdilka tank, a fully amphibious Hagglund tracked carrier, an FV 432 armoured personnel carrier and a Rapier rocket carrier, plus ride in a Lance missile carrier. At the end of the day, the best driver will get to crush a car with a 56 ton Chieftain tank! You can also look forward to clay-pigeon shooting and going on an SAS woodland patrol. A Fantastically Muddy And Brilliant Day Out

What a huge amount of fun! I went with my 13 year old son, and with 70 other people, we got kitted out in boiler suits and helmets, and were advised to wear Welly Boots. (A must for this!) We split into small teams, and went off for the first part of the day, doing survival stuff, then clay pigeon shooting, and then driving an Armoured Personnel Carrier and a Russian Grodzilka mobile howitzer. This was absolutely fantastic, pure adrenaline, grunt, diesel fumes and loads of wet mud! Out driven by my son, we returned to camp for lunch, which was filling. After lunch, we did some musketry and small canon (mortar actually) firing at targets. That was really exciting, smelly and noisy! Then moved onto more driving, a Humvee and a Lancer, and finally finishing the day in the armoury, which was very well done. A fabulous collection of weapons, that my son recognised most from playing on his X-box. A long, but brilliant day out. Very well done to all!

    Superb Day

I took my 14 year old son who seemed to beat me at everything including the driving and clay pigeon shooting. The day certainly lived up to expectations both in challenge and enjoyment. It certainly gave a different prospective of what it would be like to be a soldier.
