I was smiling from ear to ear for the whole 24 hour period. We encountered friendly hotel staff at the London Hilton Metropole and received an upgraded room when I mentioned that it was the birthday the next day. The room was amazing. Thriller Live, was truly enjoyable and we were seated next to a lovely couple who were on the same theatre break. We had drinks with them back at the hotel in the restaurant/bar on the 23rd floor which had an awesome view of London. After a great nights sleep we had a very filling breakfast. The fact we didn't have to check out until Midday was fantastic as we were able to leisurely prepare for heading home. I would not hesitate to recommend booking this break with Red Letter Days. Thank you for a great well organised break.

    Fantastic Weekend Of Thrilling Theatre!

So enjoyed the experience and seeing The Woman in Black...I took my sister as a treat and we found it absolutely thrilling. The woman in Black is one theatre experience not to be missed,a woeful, tragic and ultimately haunting tale that has you sat on the edge of your seat, looking over your shoulder and outright screaming as you are taken on an intriguing ghost ride of a story with a twist that completely floors you!!! An impressive 2 man show, demonstrating outstanding acting that captivates and impels you to want to see more!! The hotel was basic but clean and suited our needs perfectly.....providing a warm and comfertable bed and well earned rest after a busy day absorbing the culture, popular tourist sights and, of course shopping opportunity that London has to offer. After such a successful Red Letter Day Experience, my sister and I are already considering this as the perfect gift for our father and his partner as they approach their 75th Birthdays together later in 2012!

We Will Rock You Totally Rocks

We certainly chose the right show to see in We will rock you. Would definatley recommend to anyone who enjoys music by Queen. We saw it at the Dominion in London which is right next door to Tottenham Court Tube. Our accomodation was the Holiday Inn Plaza not far from Kings Cross Station which was okay however outside of theatre land meaning we had a 15 - 20 minute walk in any direction to the nearest tube station or opt for a cab. That said, below the hotel was leisure facilities including a pool, sauna and steam room (£3.50 pp per day) which meant we could relax before the show. In all, we enjoyed this Red Letter Day experience and would definitely recommend the show.

    What A Fabulous Wedding Gift!

    Kathryn B, 11 Nov 2011

I never thought I'd get my new husband to the theatre and certainly not in London. He doesn't do big cities! We had an absolute ball. Chose to see We Will Rock You. The cast had the most amazing voices. No one famous in it but that certainly didn't matter. We stayed at the Holiday Inn on King's Cross Road. 10 mins from King's Cross and St Pancras station. Really handy. Although the hotel was listed as 3* it far exceeded our expectations. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Now we can't wait to do it all again. Minus the cost of the wedding of course!!

Had a lovely time as the gift was for my 50th b'day, only draw back was the hotel room looked very tired in need of decorating and changing the carpet and floorboards. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was lovely. The Show 'Wicked' was excellent and had excellent seats.

The best way to enjoy a top show and have an overnight stay. First class show seating and a suitably located top class hotel within walking distance of the theatre made for a never to be forgotten experience.

    An Excellent Experience

    Leanne B, 05 Aug 2011

Everything was just perfect from getting off the the tube, checking in and the performance of Wicked. Hotel great location at Tower Hill spectacular views and will be something we remember forever. The Mint Hotel was excellent from the sky lounge on the 12th floor to the friendly staff serving breakfast which was also top of the range. Great seats in the circle at the theatre. Glad we got our first choice of performance of Wicked which we both thoroughly enjoyed. The whole thing was so easy from start to finish and hassle free which made it so much more enjoyable. We will certainly be booking again with Red Letter Days but may be a while as our baby is due in 8 weeks so probably one of the last weekends we have together before the little one arrives which has made it extra special.

Wicked Was Brilliant, Can Recommend It To Anyone.

    Joseph E, 05 Aug 2011

Wicked was brilliant, can recommend it to anyone. Fantastic performances by Rachel Tucker, Louise Dearman, Mark Evans, Julie Legrand, Julian Forsyth, Zoe Rainly, Ben Story and the rest of the cast. Great job by all the crew for putting together a great show too. Bought back a fondness for green women I haven't felt since watching Star Trek TOS though. And by fondness I mean lust.

    Zena D, 24 Jun 2011

I chose this theatre break with a musical show I hadn't seen before as my special treat for having worked at the same place for 25 years. My employer runs a reward scheme for the company employee's - they reward loyal service- which in todays world is something quite unusual !!!

    Enjoyable Evening!

Hotel was described as a 3 star unfourtunatly it did not seem that way, room was very very small, and was in desperate need of a refurbishment. Breakfast however was lovely and hotel lobby was very nice. Free wifi and staff were friendly. We went to see wicked the muscial which was very good, gave me goosebumps. Overall only bad part was the hotel room which i would only rate as a two star rating. But overall experience i Would recommend to a friend.
