Other venues provide the DB9 - an uncompromising six litre, 186 mph speed machine, with V12 power and handling to satisfy any driving enthusiast. Begin with a briefing from a qualified instructor who'll talk through racing lines, driving techniques and how to best handle the car, before hopping behind the wheel of either the 4.3 litre, 380 bhp Aston Martin V8 Vantage or the splendid DB9 for six miles of driving. Some venues conclude with a certificate presentation or driving analysis.

• Availability Description

  Availability varies by venue, but is generally a mix of weekdays and weekends. Dates fill very quickly, allow several weeks advance booking notice. There is a £10 upgrade fee for Lydden Hill and Mallory Park, payable on booking.

• Participant Guidelines

  Restrictions (on height and weight) vary between locations so please check all details before booking. A full manual driving licence (12 months minimum at some venues) must be held.

• Weather

  Driving might be cancelled or curtailed in extreme weather conditions (e.g. snow, ice, heavy rain or high winds) which would make driving at speed dangerous.

• Duration Detail

  Expect to be at the circuit for between an hour or two, including a briefing and approximately ten minutes driving time.

• Numbers On The Day

  All in-car tuition is on a one-to-one basis although briefings and familiarisation laps (there could be up to three people in the car) are shared.

• Dress Code

  Wear trousers, a long-sleeved shirt (non nylon clothing please) and flat-soled shoes. Any special equipment needed is provided.
