I Can't Believe I Actually Did It!
My husband and children bought me this experience for my birthday. I was initially sceptical, but I have to admit I had an utterly brilliant time! I wasn't the only female and the instructors taught us the basics of how to drive a Ferrari on a racetrack and led us right through to solo driving of a Formula Ford (I didn't even know what this was until I was in one!) in a race on the circuit. I found myself grinning round each lap, feeling both safe and exhilarated. Even my husband was impressed - and yes, jealous! This is a fantastic experience not only for car enthusiasts but also for people like me who need encouragement to think outside the box!

Everyone Needs To Do One Of These!
I had my experience at Croft and am glad I did. All the staff and instructors were vey helpful, polite and informative. The whole day was very well organised and I had no problems whatsoever. An extra treat was the DVD you can buy of you day and the report card which allows the instructors to rate your skills! A MUST!
The staff and crew at Thruxton were excellent, they did everything necessary to make your day great. With so many people there on the track I wondered how they managed to have such a fluid flowthrough of people into the cars, but they did. Each tutor was helpful, polite and really wanted to help make your day special. Great experience, we shall go again!
This was a gift for my partner from his Mum and Sisters for his 40th Birthday and he had a FABULOUS day - the instructors and people running the events were great and made the day one to remember - thanks to all concerned.
I had never done anything like this in my life, but once I did it I didn't want to stop. It was absolutely fantastic. It was a well organised day and the staff were extremely helpful and knew exactly what they were doing. I highly recommend any of the driving experiences at the Thruxton racetrack.
From the minute I arrived for my Ferrari 355 plus experience at Thruxton Race Circuit it was evident that the staff would work second to none to ensure my experience was met in every detail possible. Their own in depth experience, customer service, organisation and utmost personal attention, made my whole event highly enjoyable. The cars were as described each with their own special characteristics that certainly provided me a unique challenge and thrill that I will certainly never forget. Driving will never seem the same after my Ferrari experience. It was brilliant driving around the race circuit, accompanied by a very helpful professional racing driver.The instruction was really useful and helped to calm my nerves. The Ferrari 360 is such a beautiful and powerful car - who could fail to be impressed by driving one. Afterwards, the single seater racers were incredible too and gave some idea of what F1 must be like to race in. Then to cap it off with a warp-speed trip round the circuit as a passenger of a professional driver in a Lotus Elise made the day unforgettable. I'd love to do it again!

Well organised, very professional. Not too much waiting, track not too busy. A recommended day out. Thruxton is the perfect circuit if you just want speed (like me)!
My Perfect Birthday Present
From the moment we arrived, to the de-briefing room, when it was all over, I thoroughly enjoyed every second of my Red Letter Day. It ran like clockwork, from the three laps with the instructor which get progressively quicker, to the single seater laps at the end. For me though, the highlight of the day was driving the Ferrari 355, a supercar that I have long admired. The first lap was just listening to the advice of the instructor and benefitting from his racing background. Then it was three full on laps trying to remember everything he had said! I must also say that throughout each phase of the day, although the objective was our enjoyment, it was made clear that what was even more important was everyone's safety, which is not always an easy combination but the staff at Thruxton Motorsport managed it perfectly.This was undoubtedly my perfect birthday present, and I shall be back.

I had a fab time on my Ferrari day, the staff were amazing and the whole day ran very smoothly being escorted from one car to another. I would recommend this day to anyone. The photos at the end were also brilliant and a real keepsake to show all those at home. From the moment we booked online to the end of the racing we couldn't fault a single thing. It was a truly memorable day out.

Thoroughly Worthwhile Day
The set-up from start to finish went very well. The whole process from discussing options with the telephone staff to booking the experience was seamless. Received my confirmation straightaway and provided all the information needed. The arrangements once we arrived at the track were slick and the day went without a hitch. I was a little sceptical it would be as good as expected, but would certainly recommend as a gift for someone else or a treat for yourself. The one thing I would recommend is not to go to watch or support someone else, as you will really want to join in yourself!

Excellent Experience, I Recommend It 100%
I had my experience at Thruxton, all the staff were very helpful. Everything was explained clearly and professionally. The cars were superb. I drove a Porsche Cayman first and then the Ferrari F355 and then a single seater, all of which were totally different to drive. So it was like a triple experience. If anyone reading this is thinking of doing this experience I recommend it 100%.
The Most Incredible Experience Of My Life Ever!
Although a little nervous on arrival, I found all the staff from Administration to Instructors to Pit Lane extremely friendly and very supportive throughout my day. The most incredible experience of my life ever! I would like to say a huge thank you to my son Gareth & his wife Freya for giving me the opportunity to fulfill a dream of being a 'racing driver' - if only for 3 and a 1/2 hours!
I enjoyed the experience, it was truly different and was pleased my wife had identified this birthday present for me.
An Awesome Time Hammering It Around Thruxton
The team at Thruxton were very welcoming and the organisation in getting me onto the track in the various cars in a timely manner was excellent. The instructors that rode with me in the Mazda, Porsche, and Ferrari "knew their onions" and easily got across what I needed to do to improve my speed on the track. The single seater Formula Renault was something else, and I came off the track with burning shoulders and a feeling of "wow".
A Brilliant Day For My Son's 21St Birthday
I bought this present for my son for his 21st birthday and a thoroughly brilliant time was had by myself and my family who came to watch my son fulfil a dream he has had for most of his childhood days, especially as his surname is "Ferrari" - what else could I do but buy him this present for his 21st birthday!
An Out Of Your Body Experience!
From arriving at the circuit you are greeted by someone, you then have a 15 minute short lesson about the racing lines, corners and accelaration points, you then enjoy your laps in all of your chosen cars, the day is topped off with a progress chart and a certificate. Absolutely brilliant. Oh and after you have driven your desired cars you finish off with a high speed passenger ride with a former pro driver! Brilliant!
The event was well organised and structured. All staff/driving instructors were friendly and informative.The Ferrari package definitely provides a good mix of different driving experiences and is without doubt worth every penny! The option of purchasing the 'in-car' video of your own Ferrari drive also provides a lovely keepsake.
