Come face-to-face with one of the world’s most fearsome animals with this Meet the Tiger experience for two people. Head to Dartmoor Zoo where you’ll meet with a knowledgeable keeper who will take you behind the scenes to get up close and personal with the zoo’s male tiger, Dragan, in a unique and exciting experience. Learn all about tigers as a species and the individual characters of the zoo’s own tigers, and how they each came to be at the zoo. Don’t forget to take some photos as a memento! For the rest of the day, you’ll be free to explore the zoo’s other exhibits, with a slice of cake and hot drink to top off the experience.

Available on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays at 11.30am, year round, excluding Christmas Eve to Boxing Day. It is recommended that you book well in advance to avoid disappointment as places are limited. Dates are available up to six months in advance. Minimum age: 8 years. Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult as part of the booking. This experience can be tailored for all abilities. Please contact the supplier to discuss your needs. This experience is not suitable for anyone who is pregnant, has a high blood pressure or is of a nervous disposition. - Duration

The enclosure grounds may be uneven or muddy depending on the weather. Sturdy and supportive footwear is recommended. - Other Info
