With dedicated guidance and tuition from award-winning ceramicist, Katherine Fortnum, who has over 10 years of experience, this is the perfect opportunity to learn a brand-new skill and create a totally unique item. Before the class, discuss a design with Katherine and on the day, the bespoke workshop experience will be tailored to whatever you’d like to create. During this class, you’ll be guided through the skills you need to make a beautiful handmade piece totally from scratch and afterwards will have a niched piece to show off to friends and family.

In a Nutshell
  • A private three-hour clay making workshop for one with Katherine Fortnum, an award-winning ceramicist with over 10 years of experience
  • Receive bespoke tuition in this one-to-one session
  • Create a completely bespoke ceramic item from scratch
  • Learn and explore a wide variety of hand building techniques
  • All materials and bisque firing provided
  • Leave your unique creations in the studio where they will be dried out and bisque fired in the kiln, ready to collect after approximately 8 weeks, or postage can be arranged within the UK for an additional fee

    Your voucher is valid for one person. Available on selected dates throughout the year. Due to high demand, it is advised that you book this experience 6 months in advance. Please arrive 10 minutes before your arranged booking time. All dates are subject to availability.

    Minimum age: 8 years. Under 18s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

    All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. This experience is not wheelchair accessible, there are four small steps into the studio. This workshop is suitable for all abilities.
