Spa Day for Two

I booked a spa day at Wildmoor as a treat for my son's 19th birthday, we had a great day and came away feeling thoroughly relaxed ... and also healthy after our work out in the fully equipped gym. The lunch was excellent and my concerns that my son may feel out of place were totally unfounded, he has asked when we can go back again!

My friend and I had a wonderful day. It was relaxing and rejuvenating. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and the facilities and treatments were brilliant. I would recommend it to anyone and we are planning another day in the future.

My friend and I had a lovely and relaxing day, we forgot about everyday stresses and strains and enjoyed having time to ourselves. Everyone should do it more often.

We arrived at 9.15 and we were instantly welcomed, made to feel relaxed and this was to be how the whole day would carry on. All areas were very clean and fresh. We swam and then had the most wonderful indian head massage which has to be the most relaxed I have ever been in my life. We had a lovely 2 course lunch, then swam some more, relaxed in the sauna, then the jacuzzi, and swam again. The whole day was great and we cannot wait to go back.

My daughter and I had a wonderful day, from being greeted at reception to the wonderful lunch, the treatments were terrific and wonderfully relaxing.

Lovely, relaxing surroundings. So relaxing, that my husband and I fell asleep after our treatments! Delicious lunch too! A fantastic treat!

The staff at Rowhill Grange were brilliant, especially the masseuse who made you feel totally comfortable. The food was amazing and the spa was suprisingly quiet for a Sunday. Brilliant day!

Our Spa Day was a Christmas present for me and my daughter, from my son. We enjoyed every minute of our day at the Alexander Hotel and Utopia Spa in Turners Hill. The facilities are second to none, lunch was delicious and from the moment we arrived, the service we received from all members of the hotel staff was exemplary. First class all round.

I went to this spa day with my wife (reluctantly at first, but am very glad I did now), and we just spent the day working to our own schedule at our own pace and felt thoroughly relaxed by the time we left. Upon arrival you are greeted by very friendly and helpful staff who explain all the details of your experience, answer your questions, take your order for lunch and then let you go and enjoy the facilities at your own leisure. Brilliant.

A wonderful day, Rowhill Grange Utopia Spa is a beautiful place, the staff were extremely helpful and made you feel at ease. This was my first experience at a spa and I will definitely be visiting again as it's a lovely way to take some time out from daily life and stresses.

We received a Red Letter Day as a gift for our wedding. After six months I finally booked in for the spa day for two. It was lovely! It included a delicious two course meal and full use of the fantastic facilities. I am 3 months pregnant and the staff were very informative on the treatments to avoid and what ones were suitable. I would recommend everyone to try it out!!!

The spa was fantastic, it was all so easy. We got there bright and early and were treated incredibly well, we relaxed in the different sauna rooms, took a few gym classes. They'd even reserved a table for us for lunch which was really nice. After which my girlfriend went off to try out different cosmetics while I went for a swim before we finished off the day just lounging around. Overall it made us feel incredibly special, with just being able to spend a whole day relaxing it felt great. Afterwards we came out refreshed and completely taken back by how good we felt.

We enjoyed a totally stress free and relaxing day at the Alexandra House Hotel and Utopia Spa. The staff were professional, friendly and welcoming and on hand if we needed anything without being overbearing. We were greeted with coffee and pastries before being shown around the facilities, and then left alone to enjoy the luxurious pools, the steam rooms, the outside hot tub and the relaxation room. There was plenty of freedom and space to relax, coffee, magazines and papers were available so that we could totally chill out and enjoy our Sunday. We enjoyed a delicious two course lunch on the terrace which was superbly presented. The Hotel is set in beautiful grounds in the Sussex countryside and I would recommend the day to anyone, in fact I would encourage them to go and enjoy the experience!

A wonderful day was had by my daughter and I at Utopia Spa at Alexander House Hotel. The atmosphere was superb - calming, relaxing and friendly. All staff were great and made you feel so special. The lunch was excellent and eating outside in the courtyard wearing our robes was a lovely experience. I could not fault the day, neither of us wanted to leave and we are both planning return visits in the hopefully not too distant future.

We really felt pampered from the time we got there to the time we left. Just what Mum and I needed after her long battle with breast cancer. Thank you.

Visiting the Balmoral Spa was a welcomed retreat. Although it is in the centre of Edinburgh you would never know as the Spa is hidden away from the hustle and bustle of a busy hotel and city life. We were met by very friendly staff who could not do enough for us. And the 'help yourself' bar (stocked with fruit juices/coffee/tea) was an added bonus. As a busy Mother of three, I so enjoyed time out to relax, refresh, and reflect without small children interrupting. Everything about my Red Letter Day was perfect.

Beautiful venue for a total relaxation and pamper day. Staff made every effort to ensure the day was special, lunch was excellent - a really great day all round!

What a total treat at Utopia Spa! From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty ... coffee and pastries on arrival and a lunch menu to die for. After a tour around the facilities we began with a session in the gym, followed by a swim in the 'midnight blue' pool and a dip in the Jacuzzi. As it was a beautiful sunny day we then ventured outside to the hot tub where we were able to fully appreciate the beautiful buildings and gardens. A short session in the steam room and sauna was followed by half an hour lazing in the relaxation room. A sumptuous two course lunch of duck followed by strawberry cheesecake (cod followed by berry crumble for my friend) and we began our various heavenly treatments. Once these were over we retired to the sunny courtyard for a cup of tea and then sadly it was time to leave. A truly wonderful day out - thank you.

We really enjoyed the day, the staff are warm and welcoming and the spa itself was beautiful and the hot tub in the garden on a warm day is amazing.

A really relaxing, feel good day. Excellent service! I treated a friend for her birthday and can honestly say I have never seen her so relaxed. Lunch was wonderful also. Although predominantly ladies, there are men there too. This is a great day out for anyone who needs to de-stress!!

From the moment we entered Alexander House, everybody was so helpful and attentive and made sure that we were having the best time, they really looked after us and made us feel very special. We were totally pampered and spoilt which was fantastic and doesn't happen very often! The choice of lunch was superb, and the food beautifully presented and delicious, the restaurant staff were extremely friendly and attentive. The Spa facilities were out of this world - I treated myself to a exhilarating massage, which was unbelievable and de-stressed me totally. A treat I would recommend to anyone. Thank You!

My daughter and I had a lovely relaxing day. Just what was needed during these testing times. The setting for Rowhill Grange and Utopia Spa is great and the staff were very pleasant and unobstrusive, we were made to feel very welcome.

My daughter-in-law and I enjoyed a day of exquisite ease and comfort in the glorious surroundings of Alexander House and its gardens. We were made to feel quite at home, and soon the pool complex became familiar territory. Lunch, on the terrace surpassed all expectations, digestion aided by a stroll along the trekking path. A really unforeseen bonus was the sunbathing session by the hot tub. This made an unusual April day perfect!

I took my 18 year old daughter to Rowhill Grange Spa for quality time together - teenage daughters always have something better to do! She thoroughly enjoyed the therapy pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Very impressed with the quality of the lunch on offer and excited at the prospect of luxury pampering in the treatment rooms. She came out with purple toes and glowing skin! I just simply enjoyed spending time with her and will have fond memories of our day at Rowhill Grange.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the massage was lovely and the facilities were brilliant - couldn't fault a thing. I went with my mum and she too had a wonderful time. Everything is very close so there's not lots of trekking around involved and the most important part is it was spotlessly clean!!! Brilliant day - we are going again soon!!

On entering Rowhill Grange the staff made us feel so very welcome as we were whisked off to an impeccably decorated room for coffee and pastries. The spa was excellent, there was lots to explore and the treatments were so very relaxing. The food was really amazing - better then some fine dining restaurants I have been to in London. We finished the day lounging around the pool and hanging out in the sauna rooms. I arranged this for my best friend's 30th Birthday, but both decided that we would make time to do this Red Letter Day again maybe twice a year as it was so fantastic, very good value for money and a really brilliant day.

We were given a real welcome at Wildmoor Spa and were treated very much as individuals. We enjoyed an exercise class , the gym and the pool plus a massage, a delicious lunch and a walk out in the countryside.

During our day at the Spa we were treated very well by all members of the staff from the moment we arrived until we left. Our lunch was lovely. We had a neck, shoulder and back massage which left us feeling really relaxed. We were so relaxed I even dozed off by the pool. We would definitely book another day in the future.

Quite simply 'a perfect day'! Thank you so very much to all involved, the giver, the venue, the results. Such a thoughtful present, it really exceeded all my expectations.

It was a Xmas gift for mum and she loved it. We booked onto Alexander House and there were only about 4 other people there which made it bliss! The lunch was delicious and the outdoor spa garden with hot tub was amazing. The staff were wonderful and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

I recently enjoyed a spa day for two at Alexander House. I met some wonderful people, some first timers and some who enjoy the luxury several times a year. I found the whole experience great and would certainly go back.

My mum and I had the best 'mother and daughter' day ever at the Balmoral Spa; not only did we get the whole VIP treatment but got to use all the fab spa facilites which were to a very high standard! We can safely say we went away with a really great memorable experience and the bonus of feeling really relaxed.

A fantastic place to lose all your stresses and relax the mind, body and soul. You don't have to do anything except enjoy. One cannot ask for more.

If a self-indulgent, totally relaxing, peaceful retreat from the demands of a busy daily life is what you're after, you can't do better than Rowhill Grange. From the minute you arrive, you feel that you have left the outside world behind and you can begin to unwind. My daughter and I both treated ourselves to a wonderful Japanese hot oil massage (wish I could have one every day!) and the friendly, professional staff really help to put you at ease. Back in the pool area we immersed ourselves in the relaxing atmosphere of the Roman surroundings and boosted our circulation in the jet pool which was great fun! With a tasty lunch included, the whole day was one which is difficult to forget and I can't wait for the next birthday (or other excuse!) to repeat the experience.

The Wildmoor Spa near Stratford was the venue, the occasion, turning 40! In this climate of stress and worry and everyone working harder just to survive I can honestly say that the spa day was like an oasis in a desert of gloom and doom. For a whole day we thought of nothing but relaxing, pampering, good food and those girlie giggles that we had almost forgotten the sound of. Beautiful surroundings, delicious lunch and friends to spend the day with, what more could anyone want?!

My daughter and I enjoyed so much the quality day provided by the Balmoral, Edinburgh - beautiful pool, steam room, sauna etc, a terrific lunch, all in the wonderful peaceful environment of a top-class hotel with excellent service from welcoming friendly staff. The day was a birthday present to his sister and me from my son - I don't have many opportunities to enjoy the company of my busy daughter and to spend an entire day relaxing with her in this very nice environment was just the best present ever.

This was a treat for my mum for Christmas - much better than a new jumper she said!! We had a lovely day and left the spa floating. A perfect treat for a winter's day to recharge the batteries. Thank you!

On arrival the staff were friendly and helpful. They explained everything we needed to know and put us at ease. The pool and jacuzzi with hydrotherapy immediately got to work on any aches and pains. The Caldarium, tropical showers, steam room and sauna were all incredible and sooo relaxing. We may have been expecting lettuce leaves for lunch but no. The food was gorgeous; we especially recommend the creamy mushroom risotto! We added a swedish massage to our day, which was the icing on the cake for what had been my 30th birthday celebrations. A fantastic day and would heartily recommend Wildmoor's spa day for two to anyone in need of a bit of pampering.

I spent a lovely day in beautiful surroundings being pampered and attended to by friendly caring staff. Everything I was expecting and more, thank you.

My partner and I were in desperate need of time-out, and we certainly found that with this experience. After a warm welcome by the staff and a relaxing cup of coffee, we went for a workout in the well equipped gym, determined to do the hard stuff first! Next we swam in the pool which was a beautiful 'just warm' temperature and then relaxed poolside with magazines. Lunch was very tasty and not too heavy. After lunch we continued the relentless pace, by chilling out some more, before going in the therapy pool which had different jets aimed for various parts of the body, shoulders, back, buttocks. These were not only very beneficial to some of our aches but fun!

Warm welcome and truly ideal facilities and treatments. We had a very enjoyable girly day - and didn't want to go home!

My sister and I had a great day.The service we received was excellent and the staff made us feel very welcome. We both felt relaxed and contented when we left. I will be coming back again and I'm going to bring my daughters along. Thank you for a lovely day.

This special day was a present from my son in law who refers to me as the 'old dragon'! The hotel was first class, the service top notch, yet discreet. I took along a friend who needed a bit of a boost after a year of problems; we both went in weighed down by the woes of life, but came out feeling on top of the world! Definitely a fabulous day and one to be repeated as soon as possible!

I treated my mum to a day at the Spa and it was lovely. The staff were very attentive and ensured we were at ease - and the experience was very relaxing and enjoyable. The lunch was lovely and it was nice to being able to roam around the grounds. The whole day was calming and fantastic.

My daughter and i had a brilliant day the staff were very polite, friendly and helpful, the atmosphere was calming and extremely relaxing and the massage was great. All in all a fantastic experience.

We came away feeling thoroughly relaxed and pampered. The spa/treatment/eating facilities were superb, all the staff made us feel welcomed including the reception, bar, restaurant, treatment and cleaning staff - all were very polite and helpful.

The day was a birthday present for my wife who took a friend with her. They had a marvellous time, and came home happy and relaxed. The package was good value and easy to set up.

I expected a relaxing and pampering day but it turned out even better than I could have expected. The therapy pool offered indulgent treatments, the only thing that got us out of it was the thought of lying in the equally indulgent jacuzzi and steam rooms. Lunch wasn't great but didn't really matter too much.

Rowhill Grange was very easy to find. We were greeted by very friendly staff and shown to the lounge for coffee and pastries, all very nicely presented. We lounged by the pool and enjoyed drinks, then had a water aerobics lesson. The lunch was brilliant. In the afternoon I had 2 treatments which were great, the therapists were friendly and very informative. All in all a very enjoyable day.

As my sister-in-law and I are both carers, it was a lovely escape to spend a day on ourselves, to relax ... well I cannot find words to say about the atmosphere, the service, the smiles from staff, we just have to save up for another one.

Wonderful location, welcoming staff, high standard of decoration, high quality facilities, not crowded, delicious food. A REAL treat.

My friend and I had a lovely day at the Utopia Spa at Alexander House. Beautiful surroundings, polite and courteous staff and wonderful treatments. The pool area has definitely got the 'wow' factor. You just have to try the spa pool and the hot tub in the garden! The food was great. Fantastic place if you just want to chill out and relax - we are already planning our next visit.

The Wildmoor Spa and heath club was above and beyond expectations, we had a great day. The staff were friendly and really helpful. We had access to the spa and spent a whole day there.

We really enjoyed the day. It is nice just to chill out and relax and get away from everyday life.
