  • About

Wind tunnels have been used for years to test the aerodynamics of cars. Then some bright spark came up with the idea of flipping one upright and jumping into the airflow - and body flying was born. The wind tunnel is a 120 mph wall of air, easily strong enough to support your weight, so that you can experience freefall without the need to jump out of a plane. You'll start off with a safety briefing from your instructor before being kitted out with your specialist flight suit. Then step into the wind tunnel with your instructor, where you'll be lifted into the air for two incredible 60 second sessions of body flying. As a comparison, during a skydive from 10,000 feet, you would experience around 30 seconds of freefall. If you're lucky, your instructor will jump on the flow and show you some astonishing freefall acrobatics. Your flying session will end with a debrief, and you'll also get a DVD of your flight to take home.

    • Step into a 120mph wall of air wind tunnel for two incredible 60 second sessions of free flight
    • Try out different moves and positions with your instructor's help
    • Take your flight at either Milton Keynes or Manchester
    • Take home a DVD of you flying

Looks easier than it is, the first 60 secs get you used to the feeling, with the instructor hands-on most of the time, the second lot of 60 secs you're mostly doing your own thing, with help there if needed. A great afternoon, and thoroughly enjoyable experience

    Exhilarating Experience

My 7 year old son and I had a wonderful time, floating on a bed of air, expertly looked after by a professional body flyer!!! Highly recommended, for a family or even a corporate event, but most of all, what I was able to witness was the joy of my son, experiencing something quite awesome. His smile will live with me forever.

    Lots Of Fun!!!

    Indoor Skydiving for Two

Had wanted to do this and my 9 year old daughter showed and intrest so we went together. Its well organised and i felt safe at all times as it is very professional. The instructor Fred was fantastic and gave good instruction and made you feel a friend not a customer. DVD was a great momento and is nice quality. Wife and younger son also came to watch which was not a problem as the viewing area is comfortable, quiet and clean so it allowed the whole family to enjoy the experience.......In conclusion do it....you will not be disapointed.

The instructor was patient and funny and flew us right up to the top of the tunnel for just an extra £5. The whole experience was awesome. I can't wait to do it again. I didn't really like that the viewing platform was directly in front of us. It made me a bit self conscious.

The Introductory Indoor Skydiving experience is something I would recommend to anyone, of any age! The session was incredibly well organised and the instructors were friendly and helpful. I felt a little nervous about what I was about to do, but the training that is given before hand and the competance of the instructors soon put me at ease. I didn't feel as though our session was rushed or hurried in any way and we were able to get the most out of our time there. All questions were answered fully and everyone in our 'flight' group left with beaming smiles. It was a fabulous gift that I will certainly be buying for other friends and family members to enjoy very soon!

    Fantastic Experience

I am not a brave person and usually don't go for adrenalin activities. However I received this as a Christmas gift so thought I'd give it a go. It was so much fun. I can't begin to describe the sensation but I really recommend it to everyone. A brilliant day out!

Although a little apprehensive in the run up, all of our nerves disappeared on experiencing the Body Flying. There is nothing like it and the only diappointment is it is over all too fast. The red Letter Days taster vouchers are a great way to experience this and you get a DVD included. I'd suggest you take along some spectators so they can take some pics of you in the tunnel as you cannot take anything up with you, but they will sell you a professionally taken pic. Take advantage of the 'high fly' for an extra fiver, they spin you high into the tunnel and you can't even feel them holding on to you - it's great and I can't recommend it highly enough!

    Indoor Skydiving for Two

Absolutely fantastic! The thrill of flying is unbelievable. My two sons thoroughly enjoyed their day, and even after only one minute were able to spin themselves in mid air! The display by the instructor was incredible - flying high and swooping to the floor and through the doorway - just like Superman!

    Indoor Skydiving for Two

I've been wondering lately.... What will it take for me to get that rush? Well go no further, this is it! Before hand you are talked through the recommended body position and given full headgear and a body suit. With several other people we went into the waiting chamber where we were called forth for our seperate turns in the tunnel with the instructor. ur two lots of 60 seconds just wasn't enough. Forgive the pun but the time flew by, way too fast, ideally you need at least two 120 second sessions. That brief time in the air was well worth the journey to Manchester.

    What An Awesome Experience!

    Indoor Skydiving for Two

I got the skydiving experience for my boyfriend for a birthday present and we both thoroughly enjoyed it! I was very nervous going into the air funnel as it was very loud and almost took your breath away but once you let yourself go it was a wonderful feeling! Alot more difficult to 'keep straight' than it looks so will be returning to try and master it. My partner absolutely loved it too and wants to go back, he was a natural and didn't seem to find it hard at all - very frustrating but good for him as it was his day!
