I have always adored birds of prey and on my retirement my work colleagues surprised me with this day out at the Falconry School. The day was an absolute delight. The day started on time with a guided tour around all the birds as they sat on their "perches" seemingly waiting to be chosen to display their own particular brilliance in the air. John and Dan were extremely knowledgeable and knew all the individual characteristics of the wide spectrum of birds on display. The venue was remote enough so the birds were never in danger when in flight and we were given a remarkable display of hawks, falcons, an eagle and some owls as they flew in and around the visitors making it truly memorable experience. I may book a day for myself next year in the summer. Brilliant.
