The experience from start to finish was amazing! All the animals looked happy and well cared for, any staff we bumped into were so friendly and helpful answering any questions about the animals we had, nothing seemed to much! The safari was an amazing experience and the afternoon tea was incredible! Such an amazing day from start to finish ??

This was bought for me as a birthday gift. We had to travel quite a distance to reach the venue but it was really, really worth it. The adult accompanying the birds was super friendly and informative and made sure that everyone was well-prepared. We learned so much about the birds and got to wear the gauntlet to handle them, so there were some brilliant photos to remember the day too. It felt so special to be up close to these amazing creatures. My day with the birds was a good while back now but I still ahve the best memories!

Took our grandson aged 4we all loved it the train was spotlessly clean very friendly the guard even invited our grandson into the cab which he loved would definitely recommend excellent value

What an amazing day. The keeper was so knowledgeable and helpful, we went through the gorilla house and up on to the roof. The gorillas were out in the garden and we fed them fresh fruit and veg. There were just 4 in our group so plenty of time to ask everything we wanted to.Then on to the jeep safari, seeing animals that were not on the walking trail, great commentary from our driver. All in all highly recommended, it was a very special day.

I bought this as a gift for my husband. We had a wonderful time. An informative tour followed by cheese and wine tasting. It was very relaxing and our guide was interesting and funny. Would recommend this to others

We had a really great time doing the Really Wild Encounter at Millets Wildside near Oxford. The experience lasted about 45 minutes and we got 3 encounters - the 2 lemurs, the 2 burrowing owls and the 3 capybaras. We learned so much from our keeper and it was amazing to get up close with these wonderful animals and feed them. The capybaras really took a shine to us (the food helped!) and we enjoyed the owls more than we expected to. Our keeper made us feel safe at all times and her passion for the animals shone through. Thanks for having us!

Meeting with the Ark meercats was brillant. They are so cute. We fed them live mealworms out of the palms of our hands, under the supervision of keeper Libby. They climbed onto our knees as we were sitting down and were so tame. Libby told us all about them and we had a lovely conversation about meercats in general and this family in particular. After the encounter we walked around the rest of the park to see all the other residents. Beautiful!

Had an amazing time on the lemur liaison and meerkat meet. Having the opportunity to feed them inside their enclosure was an experience I’ll never forget. I was really impressed that it was just us on the experience-they don’t book more than one group together, which meant the keeper was able to impart lots of information about the animals. After the experience, we really enjoyed visiting the rest of the zoo. The enclosures were nice and modern and the zoo felt more intimate, with keepers stopping a couple of times to tell us more information about the animals. For a small zoo, I saw animals I’ve never see before, such as binturongs, margays and civets. It was a really special day and I really couldn’t recommend highly enough.
