Supercar Driving Blast for Juniors and Free High Speed Passenger Ride – Week Round

My daughter booked to drive the Bumblebee, it was being used elsewhere so we had to wait, it then arrived and they had no driver. Ended up waiting over an hour and half for a very quick drive. My daughter enjoyed the actual ride as she loves the car. Just seemed a bit unorganised. There is a food truck there but definitely bring your own drinks as it’s £2.50 for a water!!!!

From the moment we arrived it was obvious it was going to be a great experience. Everyone at the track was so kind and polite and made every child welcome. Our grandson was overwhelmed with the experience. The whole family went and we had excellent service in the cafe. Thank you so much to everyone there. The cost was peanuts to the smiles on the kids faces.

Given to my child as a gift. While my child Enjoyed the 2 laps they drove, we were under the impression it would be 5. Before starting we were made to feel like we HAD ti pay for the damage waiver which was £35. All other experiences we have ever done in cars have never asked for this, any insurance etc had been included. We drove a long way for it to be over in about 5 mins. Though the staff were friendly and my child did enjoy it, We would not book this again but would rather use places where there are no extra charges.

I never thought I'd be able to drive a Lamborghini at the age of 13! It was a fantastic experience.

The process and purchasing the gift through Red Letter was great. However … the actual event was poorly managed. Little communication from “pit staff” who clearly didn’t want to engage and answer questions. Clear instructions were given during the efficient booking in desk, but sadly the same couldn’t be said once pit side. My son loved his event, be be prepared to be upsold including a £35 waiver fee in case of accident / damage and a long wait with no direction / engagement

The day was well organised and staff at the event were great - very friendly and helpful. There were lots of encouragements to spend more money on the day (photos, upgraded rides etc) which I didn’t mind too much BUT the thing that I was really disappointed about was that the price I paid for the experience didn’t cover the insurance waiver, so I was over a barrel and an affordable gift for my two boys snowballed into something that was more than twice the cost I’d expected. (Of course, if you’re willing to risk an insurance excess of £5000 you won’t need to purchase a waiver! I thought it was unacceptable that this wasn’t included in the purchase price.) I also bought the experience for a particular race course and when I phoned to book, this wasn’t an option.

My son loved it but a few more laps would of been nice and the high speed passanger ride should be in the super car, not the Vxr that’s falling apart. That cars not very exciting after driving a supercar.

The first thing you need to know is that the voucher does not cover insurance or a photo. So be prepared to shell out an additional £35 for the insurance for 10 minutes of driving and another £20 minimum if you want a photo. We were able to take our own pictures that were fine, but there is pressure to buy. Secondly, there were certain staff that were very obviously biding their time to the end of the day, speaking audibly about how they couldn't wait for the day to be over, sighing heavily when they found out they had more children to take out. We had to wait for a car to get off the track with staff clearing up before we had even finished. Some staff were vaping in front of the kids, on their phones, saying they needed a drink. It was unbelievably unprofessional. My son has waited 2 and half years for his drive, a Christmas 2019 gift that he was so excited about. Luckily he did not pick up on the negativity of some of the staff and his instructor was lovely and made the experience good fun for him. He would have liked a bit longer, which is to be expected, but part of me wonders if they rushed his experience as they were clearly so keen to get away... So, from the child's perspective, it was good, but from an adult's perspective, it left a lot to be desired. I would not be rushing out to recommend it as a worthwhile gift.
