Great experience, amazing birds of prey
SMJ falconry was a fantastic experience. I've been following on Instagram for a while so to meet them up close was very special. The talk was extremely informative. We stayed just down the road, a short walk away at Old Cote cottage. Its been a lovely experience, highly recommend it. Lots of nice villages nearby and things to do.

An amazing day on the lemur liaison and meerkat meet
Had an amazing time on the lemur liaison and meerkat meet. Having the opportunity to feed them inside their enclosure was an experience I’ll never forget. I was really impressed that it was just us on the experience-they don’t book more than one group together, which meant the keeper was able to impart lots of information about the animals. After the experience, we really enjoyed visiting the rest of the zoo. The enclosures were nice and modern and the zoo felt more intimate, with keepers stopping a couple of times to tell us more information about the animals. For a small zoo, I saw animals I’ve never see before, such as binturongs, margays and civets. It was a really special day and I really couldn’t recommend highly enough.

A Fantastic Day, Despite The Weather!
Although I was initially under the impression this experience would involve flying birds (probably my fault for not reading the details correctly!), it was an absolutely brilliant day.
The weather was "challenging" at one point, but that didn't stop the experience from going ahead.
I initially thought the number of guests on the experience (25) was too many, but the venue easily dealt with this by splitting the group into two and assigned a separate experience leader to each group.
Lisa, our experience leader, was brilliant - she was full of knowledge and responded to questions asked with lots of detail.
I would fully recommend the venue we attended (World of Wings in Cumbernauld) to anybody, but it will obviously depend on where in the country you are situated.
The only "negative" comment is aimed at Red Letter Days/Adventure 001 Experiences - the experience details list the venue we attended as Cumbernauld Outdoor Activity Centre, but, as mentioned above, the venue is actually called World of Wings. To the uninitiated this could lead to lots of confusion, so I would urge the organisers to update their details for this venue.
