There are over 400 English Heritage sites to choose from, dotted all over the country. They span from massive castles and medieval villages to Roman forts and sprawling manor houses. It’s the perfect day out with the kids, mixing education with fun. Head down to Dover Castle, walk along Hadrian’s Wall or admire the 7th-century architecture of Whitby Abbey. Enjoy entry to some magnificent historic attractions as well as giving reduced prices on events and a 12-month subscription to an exclusive members’ magazine.

Family Days Out at Zip World

Looking for a nail-biting experience? Zip World offers pure thrills. After a safety briefing from trained instructors, suit up in protective gear, strap into a harness and attach to the zip wire. Then it’s time to glide through the air! Bounce Below takes explorers to the UK’s deepest accessible point for an unforgettable session on suspended bouncy nets. Colourful lights line the walls, adding a striking ambience to the disused Welsh slate mine.

Couldn’t have asked for a better day!

The experience from start to finish was amazing! All the animals looked happy and well cared for, any staff we bumped into were so friendly and helpful answering any questions about the animals we had, nothing seemed to much! The safari was an amazing experience and the afternoon tea was incredible! Such an amazing day from start to finish ??

Absolutely fantastic!

What a great experience! Everyone was so friendly and helpful, and everything was well explained. The walk itself was well managed and a good length. Would definitely do it again!

Great gift idea

If you’re looking to do something fun as a family this place is great. The best bowling place I’ve been to. The fact they have a DJ is great. Food is worth the money especially the pizza really tasty and to end the night the kids loved having a go on the arcade games which normally I think are a rip off but these have loads of new games I’ve not seen before plus they wasn’t expensive and you won tickets and didn’t need thousands just to win a lollypop. Really would recommend definitely will be bad again even tho we have closer bowling arcades this is worth the travel

Kew Gardens - Great walk and Nature

Fantastic place. Beautiful scenery. The ticket process was swift online. Paid with PayPal. There is no need to book a slot or time for Kew Gardens. Just redeem the voucher online and turn up. Show the voucher at the entrance and they will process the ticket. Food inside is expensive. Plan to pack a picnic lunch/bag. The children's area is next to the Family Kitchen Shop/Restaurant. Parking on site available at £10 per day but the gardens close at 7pm and the parking 30 mins after.
