Situated in Shifnal, amidst the rural Shropshire countryside is the Haughton Hotel and Leisure Club. The hotel dates back to 1718 and is decorated in a timeless style, with 35 acres of gardens and woodlands to be enjoyed by visitors. Indulge in a spot of afternoon tea for two and enjoy exquisite food and attentive service in this fantastic setting. Tuck into freshly made scones with clotted cream and jam and a selection of freshly made sandwiches, which include prawn marie rose, roast ham and mustard and chicken mayonnaise. Enjoy a delicious selection of cakes and pastries to tuck in to and a warm chocolate fondue with fresh fruit and marshmallow dip. Sip on a selection of speciality teas and coffees.
Daily throughout the year, excluding Christmas and New Year.
Everyone is welcome, but at least one guest must be an adult (18 or over). The entrance to the hotel has seven steps and all facilities are on one floor. There is a ramp entrance to the building from the rear of the main house for wheelchair users.
Afternoon tea lasts for around two to three hours and is served between 1pm - 4.30pm.
