The Alexandra House Hotel was a smart backdrop to our champagne afternoon tea. The room was stately and the tables looked lovely with their classy crockery. The tea itself was delicious: the bread of the finger sandwiches was soft and the scones light and warm. The patisseries were pretty and tasty mouthfuls. What made the whole occasion extra special were the delightful members of staff, who were charming and personable. They made us feel like VIPs, and it felt good! Thank you for a lovely few hours.

The surroundings were excellent, the staff very polite and attentive, andcthe quality of food was superb.
I have had a few experiences of afternoon tea elsewhere but this was second to none .
