Tank Driving Taster in Leicestershire
Never felt the raw, brutal power of driving a tank? Don't let this opportunity roll by. Learn to commandeer one of these iconic behemoths on land which was used as a WWII bombing range by the RAF. Upon arrival, change into the provided uniform and helmet. Once dressed for the part, meet the instructor and crew, before being taken to a mighty turreted FV432 tank. Tune in to a briefing, then climb inside and take the controls; it's time to go on a rampage through the Leicestershire countryside. Have a go at driving with the hatch open, then try using the periscope instead, as would have been used under battle conditions. When the instructor takes over the driving, get comfy in the turret and relish the ride.
