Arrived. Not well sign posted. My name checked against a list (there was only 2names in list. Seated and then asked for my voucher. To waitress I had a confirmation email which I had to show and she photographed it on her phone. Then asked it was the voucher code she needed. On searching I did find it which she photographed also . Scones and sandwiches came with tea. We asked about the prosecco. A bar attender came and said we have no prosecco and was there any wine I would like. I told him I was amazed that a place like de vere on the wokefield EST in reading had no prosecco so I told him I would have champagne in place of it. He went away and a waitress arrived at our table with prosecco 5 mins later half way through our cream tea. On top of this they had a training course going in in a room off from where we were and used the veranda for their 30 mins break. Very noise and spoilt our view described in your cream tea experience on line when I was booking. Let down!!
