Half Day Falconry Experience
Learn all about the art of falconry on this half day experience overlooking the beautiful Shibden Valley in West Yorkshire. This intimate experience allows you to get up close and personal with a bird of prey and includes plenty of opportunities to hold several different birds of prey included Boo the barn owl, Ganacus the falcon, Ruby the vulture and D'mona the American bald eagle. Get expert tuition in the art of falconry and learn to use the falconry equipment. There is plenty of time to handle the birds so that you get comfortable with them and they can get comfortable with you. Take part in a hawk walk which includes carrying a falcon, hawk or owl. The perfect experience for anyone who wants to get up close and personal with birds of prey.

Weekends, throughout the year and weekdays from March to October.
- Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 13.
Please call the venue for a weather check before setting out. If your experience is cancelled because of bad weather it will be re-booked for an alternative date.
Your experience will last for around three hours. The experience is from 11am to 2pm on weekends and 2.30pm to 5.30pm on weekdays.
- Numbers on the Day
There will be up to four people taking part.
- Dress Code
Dress for the outdoors and wear sturdy wellies or walking boots. Bring a change of clothes if the weather is very wet. If you have a camera or a pair of binoculars, bring them along.
