Overview
Go white water rafting together in Wales on an inflatable six-person raft. Be kitted out with all the equipment before a full safety briefing and instruction in the best practices of rafting. An experienced guide will take everyone on a series of runs down the exhilarating bends and plunges of the mighty River Tryweryn. Catch a breath at the bottom then it starts all over again. Enjoy as many runs as time allows – usually four. As a guide for this adventure, Wales is graded three on the UK's white water rafting grading system which starts at one (relaxed) and goes up to six (too rough to offer commercially).

- Availability Description
Available daily from mid December to end of October, subject to water releases by the local river authority. Dates fill very quickly so please book at least six weeks in advance. - Participant Guidelines
Minimum age is 12. Max chest girth is 52''. Participants must be able to swim at least 25 metres before they can brave the rapids in the 14 foot inflatable raft. Any medical conditions must be declared before booking and venue may test fitness. - Weather
Severe adverse weather conditions or local environmental issues can affect water releases and rafting – participants MUST call the venue two days prior to the experience to check weather conditions and the latest water release information. - Duration
The experience lasts for around two hours from initial introduction to debrief. Once booked, the time quoted allows for registration, any preparation and is not necessarily the start time of the experience. - Numbers on the Day
The raft holds up to six people plus a qualified instructor. - Dress Code
Bring swimwear and a towel. For those who own a long-legged wetsuit bring that. Boots, helmets, wetsuits and buoyancy aids are provided. Glasses and contact lenses may be worn at participants own risk. - Other Info
All our vouchers are fully flexible and can be redeemed against our huge range of experiences. It is imperative to call the venue two days in advance to check that rafting is going ahead. If water release or weather conditions mean that rafting is postponed, a rebooking will be made.

Did the 2 hour session with my 13 yr old son - was great fun, staff were excellent, as were the facilities.

Really great activity and something different. The instructors are safe but make the experience with their personalities and skills on the river. Definitely recommend as it is tailored to all skill levels. I have done whitewater rafting in other areas of the UK and this is by far the best.
